Job Purpose

To ensure accurate and timely billing of patient services, insurance processing, and coordination with clinical departments for smooth revenue flow.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare OPD, IPD, and discharge bills accurately
Verify patient details, treatment charges, and doctor orders
Handle insurance / TPA billing, pre-authorizations, and claim submissions
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, pharmacy, lab, and front office
Generate bills, receipts, credit notes, and refunds
Follow up on pending payments and insurance approvals
Maintain billing records, MIS reports, and daily collections
Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and NABH standards
Resolve patient and insurance-related billing queries politely

Required Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of hospital billing processes (OPD/IPD/TPA)
Basic accounting knowledge
Positive communication and patient-handling skills
Attention to detail and accuracy




Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
Computer proficiency (HIS, MS Excel)

Qualification & Experience
Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Accounting, or Healthcare Management
1–3 years experience in hospital billing preferred
Freshers with hospital billing training may be considered

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
