Job Description – Water Plant Chemist / Lab Technician

Position: Water Plant Chemist / Lab Technician

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month

Location:THODUPUZHA

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct regular chemical and microbiological tests of raw water and treated water.
Check parameters such as pH, TDS, hardness, chlorine, turbidity, alkalinity, etc.
Collect and maintain water samples as per testing procedures.
Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment.
Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare daily reports.
Monitor water treatment processes and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Identify abnormal test results and report issues to the concerned supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness, safety,



and proper handling of laboratory chemicals.
Ensure compliance with applicable water quality and safety standards.

Requirements:
Diploma/B.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science or related field.
Experience in a water treatment plant/laboratory is preferred.
Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
Basic computer knowledge and positive record-keeping skills.
Ability to work in shifts if required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
