Job Description – Chargeback Officer

Position: Officer/AM

Key Responsibilities
Handle chargeback and dispute management for Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay transactions.
Review and process chargeback requests, representments, and dispute cases within defined timelines.
Analyze transaction details, supporting documents, and customer/merchant claims.
Coordinate with banks, merchants, internal teams, and payment networks for dispute resolution.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of chargeback cases.
Track chargeback status, ageing, TAT, and pending cases.
Identify recurring dispute trends and escalate critical or high-value cases.
Maintain daily MIS and reports related to chargebacks and disputes.
Ensure compliance with Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay dispute/chargeback guidelines.





Required Skills
Hands-on experience in Chargeback / Dispute Management.
Valuable understanding of Visa, Mastercard & RuPay transaction flows and dispute processes.
Knowledge of transaction types such as POS, E-commerce, UPI/Card transactions will be an advantage.
Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
Robust attention to detail and documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Working knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting.

Education

Graduate in any discipline, preferably Commerce, Finance, Banking, or a related field.

Pay: ₹293,243.18 - ₹600,000.00 per year
