Supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure smooth functioning of the department.
Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and potential medication errors.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and expiry monitoring of medicines.
Maintain adequate stock levels and coordinate timely procurement of medicines and consumables.
Monitor FIFO/FEFO practices and conduct regular stock verification.
Maintain records of controlled, high-alert, emergency, and other critical medicines as per hospital policy.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, purchase, stores, billing, and other departments for pharmacy-related requirements.
