Deployment Manager

Key Responsibilities

The SCCM Deployment Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and managing operating system, application, and device deployments using Microsoft SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager). The role ensures successful rollout activities while minimizing business disruption and maintaining deployment compliance.

Skill Requirements

Key Responsibilities Deployment Planning & Coordination Develop deployment schedules and rollout plans for OS upgrades, patching, and software distributions. Coordinate with project teams, business stakeholders, and technical support teams. SCCM Deployment Management Manage application packaging, software distribution, OS imaging, and task sequence deployments through SCCM. Monitor deployment progress and troubleshoot deployment failures. Windows Migration Support Lead Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration activities, ensuring successful device upgrades and user readiness.



Track migration status and escalate risks impacting project timelines. Deployment Monitoring & Reporting Produce deployment dashboards and status reports. Track compliance, success rates, deployment metrics, and outstanding issues. Incident & Issue Management Investigate deployment-related incidents and coordinate resolution with engineering and support teams. Perform root cause analysis for failed deployments. Stakeholder Communication Provide regular updates to project managers, business users, and leadership teams. Coordinate deployment windows and communicate user impacts. Process & Governance Ensure deployments follow change management, security, and operational governance requirements. Maintain deployment documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles. Vendor & Resource Coordination Coordinate onsite and remote deployment resources. Work with hardware vendors and support teams to resolve deployment dependencies.
