JOB DESCRIPTION – STORE KEEPER

Location: Coimbatore / Project Site
Reports To: Site Manager / Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an organized and responsible Store Keeper to manage the receipt, storage, issue, and inventory of construction materials, tools, equipment, and other site-related items.

Key Responsibilities
Receive materials delivered to the project/site and verify quantity and condition against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
Maintain accurate records of all materials received and issued.
Store materials systematically and ensure proper identification and labeling.
Issue materials to site teams based on approved requirements.
Maintain daily stock registers and inventory records.
Monitor stock levels and inform the reporting manager when materials need to be replenished.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or wastage.
Maintain records of material returns, damaged materials, and excess materials.
Coordinate with the Purchase, Accounts, and Project/Site teams regarding material requirements and deliveries.
Track movement of tools, equipment, and other reusable items.




Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports as required.
Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and secure.
Prevent unauthorized removal or issue of materials.
Support periodic stock audits and provide required documentation.
Perform other store-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements
Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and basic inventory procedures.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
Positive record-keeping and documentation skills.
Ability to verify quantities and maintain stock accuracy.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.
Willingness to work at project/site locations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
