Job Description: Quality Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure that our products/processes meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quality control, inspection, and continuous improvement initiatives across production/project operations.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products/work as per defined quality standards
Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities; initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, checklists, and inspection reports
Implement and monitor adherence to quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent)
Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend process improvements
Coordinate with production/site/project teams to resolve quality concerns
Support internal and external audits; ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements




Monitor calibration of testing/measuring instruments
Maintain records of quality metrics, rejections, and rework data
Train shop floor/site staff on quality standards and best practices

Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or relevant discipline)
1–3 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance
Knowledge of quality tools (Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.)
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems
Hands-on experience with inspection/testing equipment relevant to the industry
Valuable analytical, observational, and documentation skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
Robust attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Preferred Skills
Experience with Six Sigma / Lean tools
Industry-specific quality certifications
Prior experience in [manufacturing/construction/automotive/pharma] — specify as needed

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
