Role & responsibilities
Bank Entries in Tally
Expense and journal vouchers in Tally with correct ledgers, TDS and GST treatment.
Maintain vendor and customer ledgers; obtain and reconcile balance confirmations.
Prepare monthly reconciliations and support month-end closing.
Keep supporting documents filed and traceable for audit.
Assist with GST and TDS workings and data for the consultants.
Prepare straightforward MIS and trackers in Excel for the accounts team.
Preferred candidate profile
B.Com or an equivalent commerce / finance degree.
2+ years in an accounts role.
Daily hands-on Tally work: vouchers, ledgers, reconciliations.
Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic reconciliations.
Accurate with numbers; comfortable owning a daily deadline.
