About us

Were an early-stage Indian startup building a recent-age brand in the watch and jewellery space. Because we work with international suppliers, import documentation, customs procedures, and foreign exchange are central to how we run. We are looking for an accountant who can own the day-to-day finance function end-to-end — books, compliance, imports, and reporting — and grow with the business as we scale.

The role

This is a hands-on role for someone who likes their work organised, accurate, and on time. You will work closely with the founder and management team on everything from monthly closing and statutory compliance to clearing shipments and managing forex remittances. We want someone reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive — someone who follows through on their own.

What you’ll do
Maintain books of accounts in Tally (or equivalent) — journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor reconciliations, and expense tracking.
Handle GST filings, TDS returns, and statutory compliance.




Own end-to-end import documentation — Bill of Entry, IGM, customs duty payments, and BOE filings.
Coordinate with CHAs (Customs House Agents), freight forwarders, shipping lines, and banks.
Create and maintain sales registers for a D2C website
Support monthly closing, MIS reporting, and audit preparation.
Maintain organised digital records of all financial and shipping documentation.

What we’re looking for
B.Com / M.Com graduate; CA Inter is a plus but not required.
3–5 years of accounting experience.
Mandatory: hands-on experience with import documentation and customs procedures.
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and foreign exchange transactions.
Proficient in Tally and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic financial modelling).
Robust attention to detail, organised, and process-oriented.
Reliable, takes ownership of timelines, and follows through without being chased.
Comfortable working independently within a small, rapid-moving team.
