Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor Quality Control procedures for building construction activities.
Inspect construction work and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct quality inspections for RCC, structural works, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
Check the quality of incoming construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, blocks, tiles, etc.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor concrete pouring, reinforcement, shuttering, and other critical construction activities.
Ensure proper execution of cube tests, material tests, and other required quality tests.
Maintain inspection reports, test reports, checklists, and quality records.
Prepare and maintain ITP (Inspection & Test Plan), Method Statements, and Quality Checklists.
Identify non-conformities and coordinate for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved standards.
Assist in internal and external quality audits.




Coordinate with laboratories for material and concrete testing.
Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, project specifications, and safety/quality procedures.

Required Skills
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a QC/Quality Engineer in the construction industry.
Building construction experience is mandatory.
Positive knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
Knowledge of IS codes and construction quality standards.
Experience in preparing ITP, checklists, inspection reports, and test reports.
Valuable coordination and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office/Excel.
Ability to work independently at a construction project site.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. Civil Engineering

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in residential buildings, commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, or large-scale building projects will be preferred.
