Job Description:

Responsible for the design and detailing of hot runners in a production setting with a focus on 100% quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Engineer an entire hot runner from concept to release for all common molds using CAD and BaaN with a high level of attention to detail.
Follow well-established design rules and practices.
Work with manufacturing to help resolve production issues.
Maintain thorough job file documentation.
Check others work and make specific recommendations for fixes as well as improvements.
Demonstrate and maintain required quality, efficiency and on-time requirements.

Technical/Qualified Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Entry-level 3D solid CAD experience.
Ability to organize a sequence of tasks on a project to meet commitment dates.
Ability to work a variety of shifts.
Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluids and stress analysis (mechanical skills).

Qualifications:
BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required (or equivalent job-related experience)
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Mold Design with relevant experience.

Related Experience:
2+ years experience in Mechanical/Mold Design preferred
