Role & responsibilities
Assist in the developing production schedules to meet customer demand and company objectives.
Monitor production progress and coordinate with various departments to ensure that production targets are met.
Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams to monitor flow of materials for production.
Analyse production data and identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement
Implement strategies to improve production planning and control processes
Conduct regular inspections of the production floor to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and drive initiatives to enhance operational performance
Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement
Preferred candidate profile
•Knowledge of production planning and control principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
