Role & responsibilities
Supervise fabrication, welding, assembly, and testing activities for heat transfer equipment.
Ensure compliance with drawings, WPS, QAP, ASME/TEMA codes, and customer requirements.
Plan and manage manpower, materials, consumables, tools, and equipment.
Monitor fabrication progress and achieve productivity, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Welding Engineering, Machine Shop, and Stores teams.
Ensure proper material traceability, documentation, and inspection readiness.
Minimize rework through effective quality control and process monitoring.
Develop and guide welders, fitters, and contract manpower to improve shop performance.
Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and 5S practices.
