Hiring for fund accountant

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounting activities with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.
Process and review accounting entries.
Prepare supporting workings for accounting entries. Manage, review, and reconcile accounting entries. Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Prepare, review and reconcile various tax compliances (TDS, GST, advance tax etc.)
Ownership of vendor onboarding and control over vendor payment cycles.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes (like MIS and cashflow statement etc.)
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and investor reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Collaborate with auditors, custodians, fund administrators, and internal stakeholders as required.

Required Skills




Solid understanding of accounting concepts.
Basic understanding of Fund Accounting and Investment Accounting principles.
Experience in journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and fund operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a energetic environment.

Preferred Experience
Exposure to Private Equity Funds, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).
Experience in audit coordination and regulatory reporting.
