We're expanding our engineering team in Kerala and looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Backend Developer to join us full time and grow with the company. We're looking for a Backend Developer with 2+ years of hands-on, project-based experience to design, build, and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs that power our products. You'll work closely with our engineering and product teams, contribute across the stack when needed, and play a key role in shaping the reliability and scalability of our systems.

Role Description The Back End Developer is a full-time, remote role based in Kerala, India. This isn't just a coding role - we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us. As the team and company scale, we're looking for someone who can take on greater ownership over time and eventually grow into a technical leadership role, mentoring other developers and helping shape our engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities




Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
Design, structure, and optimize relational database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL / SQL
Collaborate with the team on frontend integration and feature development using Next.js
Write clean, effective, well-documented, and testable code
Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the application stack
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and data integrity
Work with DevOps/deployment processes to ship features reliably
Occasionally visit client sites for meetings, requirement gathering, implementation support, or troubleshooting as needed
Take ownership of features and projects end-to-end, with incr
