About the Role

/n

We are hiring a Business Development Manager – Technical Sales for one of our European clients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Indian railway industry, particularly in track machines, track construction, and maintenance.

/n

This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing existing customers, supporting machinery trials and demonstrations, and working closely with Indian Railway authorities, contractors, and international teams.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n
Identify new sales opportunities with railway contractors, Indian Railways, metro networks, and other railway stakeholders.
/n
Build and maintain robust relationships with railway contractors, RDSO, Zonal Railways, DFCCIL, NHRSCL, NCRTC, and metro organizations.
/n
Develop business for service, spare parts, and machinery health certificates.




/n
Coordinate trials, demonstrations, and deployment of railway machinery with customers and system integrators.
/n
Work with the service team to provide technical support and resolve customer requirements.
/n
Conduct site visits for technical discussions, audits, information gathering, and new product feasibility.
/n
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to contractors, RDSO, and other railway authorities.
/n
Support tender documentation, technical proposals, and the railway approval process.
/n
Coordinate with international clients and internal teams to deliver business objectives.
/n

Required Skills and Experience

/n

/n
10–15 years of experience in the railway industry, preferably with track machines or track management.
/n
Strong technical knowledge of railway track construction and maintenance.
/n
Good understanding of railway machinery, track technology, and components.
/n
