Puppy Atlas is a marketing agency and consultancy exclusively focused on India's pet care industry. We help pet brands and startups with marketing, e-commerce growth, and market strategy, while also building our own ventures — Pets News Network (India's dedicated pet industry journalism platform) and The Pet Being (a D2C pet products marketplace). We're growing rapid and looking for someone who can help us grow faster.

About the Role
We're looking for a Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition, partnership growth, and revenue expansion across our agency, consultancy, and marketplace verticals. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships with pet industry brands, and closing deals that fuel our next phase of growth.

What You'll Do
Identify and pursue current business opportunities across the pet care industry — brands, startups, manufacturers, and distributors
Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients for Puppy Atlas's marketing and consultancy services




Drive brand onboarding and partnerships for The Pet Being marketplace
Develop and pitch proposals, service packages, and commercial terms tailored to client needs
Represent Puppy Atlas at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders — brand founders, marketing heads, and category leaders in the pet industry
Collaborate closely with the marketing and operations team to ensure smooth client onboarding and delivery
Track pipeline, conversion metrics, and revenue targets, reporting progress regularly

What We're Looking For
3–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (agency, D2C, or FMCG background preferred)
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with ownership and accountability
Prior experience in the pet care, FMCG, or e-commerce ind
