Role Description The Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer is a full-time, in office role based in Balianta. The HSE Officer will develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with applicable regulations and company standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting workplace inspections, identifying hazards, performing risk assessments, and recommending corrective actions.

The role involves organizing safety trainings, maintaining incident and compliance records, and promoting a culture of safety among all staff. The HSE Officer will also collaborate with management to ensure protected handling, storage,



and distribution of electrical appliances and related products.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Workplace Safety skills, with the ability to identify risks and implement preventive measures.
Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) expertise, including knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices for protected operations.
Candidates should possess Occupational Health knowledge, focusing on employee well-being, safe work practices, and compliance with occupational standards.
Candidates should possess NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification, demonstrating formal training in health and safety management.
Relevant experience in HSE roles within industrial, electrical, or retail environments is beneficial.
Strong communication, reporting, and training skills, with the ability to engage staff at all levels on safety topics.
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in safety performance.
Diploma or degree in safety management, environmental science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
