Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend systems and APIs. You will work closely with Product, Frontend, Mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, high-performance applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
n
Build and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs
n
Design and maintain database schemas and data models
n
Develop event-driven and serverless applications
n
Integrate with third-party APIs and enterprise systems
n
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
n
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
n
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
n

Requirements

n

n




5–8 years of backend development experience
n
Solid proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
n
Experience building REST and GraphQL APIs
n
Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, etc.)
n
Robust understanding of database design, security, and performance optimization
n
Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices
n
Robust problem-solving and communication skills
n

n

Preferred: Experience with AWS AppSync, Serverless Architecture, Event-Driven Systems, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or AWS CDK, and building enterprise SaaS platforms
