Job DescriptionBuild the intelligence layer behind our business. nnWe’re looking for an AI & Business Intelligence Lead to transform how we use data across the company.nThis is not a traditional Data Analyst role.nWe want someone who is exceptional with AI — particularly Claude — and knows how to combine AI, data, dashboards, automation and business thinking to give leadership a real-time understanding of what is happening across the company.nYou’ll take data that currently lives across spreadsheets, marketing platforms, e-commerce systems, finance, CRM, operations and other tools and turn it into live dashboards, automated reporting and actionable business intelligence. nnThe ultimate goal is simple:nAt any moment, leadership should be able to understand: nWhat happened? nWhy did it happen? nWhat needs our attention? nWhat should we do next? nnWhat You'll Do nnBuild our company-wide intelligence system nCreate a centralized reporting ecosystem covering areas including:nn Revenue & profitabilityn Marketing performancen CAC, ROAS, MER and LTVn Conversion funnelsn Landing page performancen Customer acquisitionn Retention & subscriptionsn Salesn Financen Customer experiencen Operationsn Inventoryn Product performancennYou'll work with leadership and individual departments to determine the KPIs that actually matter and how they should be measured.nnnBuild live dashboards nTurn fragmented data into clear, easy-to-understand dashboards using tools such as:nn Google Looker Studion Google Sheets / Exceln AI-generated dashboards and artifactsn Internal web dashboardsn BI and visualization platformsnnYou should know how to take something currently being tracked manually in five different spreadsheets and turn it into one reliable source of truth.nnnUse AI to build faster nYou should be highly proficient with Claude and modern AI tools.



nWe want someone who uses AI every day to:nn Build dashboards and internal toolsn Analyze large datasetsn Write and debug coden Create reporting workflowsn Generate SQLn Connect data sourcesn Automate repetitive analysisn Identify anomalies and trendsn Generate executive summariesn Prototype new internal applicationsnnIf you still approach every analytics problem the same way you did before generative AI, this probably isn't the right role.nnConnect our data nYou'll help automate the movement of data between systems.nDepending on the project, that could mean working with:nn APIsn SQLn Google Sheetsn Exceln Databasesn Webhooksn Data connectorsn ETL toolsn E-commerce platformsn Advertising platformsn CRM systemsn Finance systemsnnYou don't necessarily need to be a full-time Data Engineer, but you should be technical enough to figure out how to get data from Point A to Point B reliably. nnTurn data into decisions nBuilding dashboards is only half the job.nWe want someone who can interpret what the data is telling us. nInstead of simply reporting:n"Conversion rate decreased from 4.2% to 3.6%."nWe want you to investigate why .nWas it traffic quality?nA specific advertising channel?nA new landing page?nMobile conversion?nCheckout abandonment?nA pricing change?nA particular country?nThen communicate the answer clearly to leadership.nBuild AI-powered executive reporting nWe want to eventually automate much of our company reporting.nFor example, leadership should receive a weekly report explaining:nnWHAT HAPPENED nThe biggest changes across the business.nWHY IT HAPPENED nThe drivers behind those changes.nWHAT NEEDS ATTENTION nAnomalies, risks and opportunities.nWHAT WE SHOULD DO nSpecific recommended actions based on the data.nYour job will be to help build the data infrastructure and AI workflows that make this possible.nWhat We're Looking For nYou are probably someone who sits somewhere between:nnnBusiness Intelligence + Data Analytics + AI + Automation + Business Strategy.



nYou should be strong in several of the following:nn Claude / Claude Coden Advanced AI prompting and workflowsn Exceln Google Sheetsn Looker Studion SQLn APIsn Data visualizationn Dashboard developmentn Data automationn Business analyticsn AI-assisted codingn Pythonn ETL / data pipelinesnnBut technical skills alone aren't enough.nnYou need to understand business. nnYou should be comfortable analyzing metrics like:nCAC, LTV, ROAS, MER, AOV, conversion rate, retention, churn, gross margin, contribution margin, revenue growth and profitability.nMost importantly, you need to be extremely resourceful. nWe want someone who can be given a messy business problem and figure out how to solve it.nYou're Probably a Outstanding Fit If... nYou use Claude or other advanced AI tools constantly and believe AI has fundamentally changed how analytics and business intelligence should be done.nYou love taking messy spreadsheets and turning them into something structured and useful.nYou can build things yourself instead of constantly needing engineering resources.nYou naturally ask "Why?" when you see a number change.nYou can move between technical work and commercial thinking.nYou can explain complicated data in a way that a CEO can understand in 60 seconds.nAnd when someone says:n"I wish we had a dashboard that could show us..."nYour instinct is:n"I can probably build that." nExample Project nAs part of the interview process, we may give you several messy datasets representing different areas of a business.nYour challenge will be to use Claude and whatever tools you think are appropriate to turn the data into:nn A working executive dashboardn Automated KPI reportingn An executive summary of the businessn Identification of important trends or anomaliesn Recommendations for what leadership should do nextnnWe care less about which tools you use and more about how quickly and intelligently you can turn raw information into something useful. nWhat Success Looks Like nWithin your first few months, leadership should be able to open one place and understand the health of the entire business.nOver time, we want to build an internal AI-powered business intelligence layer that continuously analyzes the company and helps us make faster, better decisions.nnYou'll be the person responsible for helping us build it.
