Position Title: Procurement Lead (Site)
Reports to: Senior Manager - Procurement
Location: project Site (Anywhere in south & East India)
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Lead (Site) with a Civil Engineering background and
10 15 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management within the
Infrastructure, foundation, or marine construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, and services
for the projects.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard current vendors, including vendor registration and vendor
reconciliation
Conduct price negotiations with vendors to achieve cost-effective procurement while
maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
Create Purchase Orders (PO) in ERP using MS Dynamics Procurement & Sourcing Module
for materials such as marine materials (rock, concrete armour units, geotextiles, steel)
cement, aggregates, bentonite, steel, hardware, electrical items, and regular spares.
Conduct price negotiations with vendors to achieve cost-effective procurement while
maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
Subcontract finalization and management of civil works
Prepare comparative statements (CS) based on vendor quotations for evaluation and

Ensure timely follow-up with vendors for material dispatch and delivery to project sites.
Monitor and manage critical inventory items such as cement, aggregates, and steel to ensure
uninterrupted project operations.
Handle inventory control and stores coordination, ensuring zero stock discrepancies and
proper material tracking.
Prepare transportation orders and coordinate logistics for site deliveries.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for internal and external audits.
Generate and analyze ERP reports related to daily operations, procurement queries, and
management reporting to support decision-making.
Create material reservations for construction and mechanical items in the ERP system.
Ensure compliance with GST regulations and maintain knowledge of GST portal processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Civil / Mech Engineering or a related field.
10 15 years of experience in procurement, inventory, stores, and logistics within civil
construction projects.
Experience in ground improvement, foundation engineering, or marine construction
projects is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably MS Dynamics).
Strong vendor management, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Knowledge of GST compliance.
Ability to manage procurement schedules aligned with project execution timelines.
