2. Job Purpose

To provide high-quality teaching, academic leadership, research, and mentoring in the field of Economics, while contributing to the overall academic development and institutional objectives of the College.

3. Key Roles and Responsibilities

A. Teaching & Academic Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver undergraduate in Economics for college of law /CASM.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, presentations, assignments, and other teaching resources.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars, discussions, and practical/application-based sessions as applicable.
- Evaluate students through assignments, internal assessments, examinations, presentations, and projects.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, assessment records, and other required documentation.
- Adopt appropriate teaching methodologies and technology-enabled learning practices.
- Regularly update course content in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and emerging developments in Economics.

B. Research & Publications

- Undertake independent and collaborative research in areas of Economics.
- Publish research papers in reputed national and international journals.
- Present research findings at conferences, seminars, workshops, and academic forums.
- Guide students in research projects, dissertations, and other academic work.
- Develop and participate in funded research projects, where applicable.

C. Student Mentoring & Development





- Mentor and guide students in academic and career-related matters.
- Monitor student progress and provide appropriate academic support.
- Encourage participation in seminars, conferences, competitions, research activities, and other co-curricular activities.
- Support students in developing analytical, quantitative, research, and critical-thinking skills.

D. Academic Administration

- Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, examination-related activities, and institutional events.
- Contribute to curriculum development, revision, and academic planning.
- Coordinate or support departmental academic activities as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with institutional academic policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Undertake additional academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Department / Principal.

E. Institutional Development

- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental and institutional academic goals.
- Participate in accreditation, quality-assurance, and documentation activities.
- Organize or coordinate guest lectures, workshops, conferences, seminars, and other academic programmes.
- Establish academic collaborations and professional networks where appropriate.




- Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.

4. Educational Qualification

- Master's Degree in Economics or a relevant discipline with the required academic credentials.
- The candidate should meet the applicable qualification and eligibility requirements prescribed by the relevant regulatory authorities and the institution.

5. Experience

- Relevant teaching and academic experience at the college/university level.
- Demonstrated research experience with publications in recognized/reputed journals.
- Experience in academic administration, student mentoring, research guidance, or institutional responsibilities will be an advantage.

7. General Responsibilities

The Professor shall perform any other academic, research, examination, administrative, or institutional responsibilities assigned by the competent authority from time to time, consistent with the policies of the institution.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
