Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage daily financial operations, tax compliance, and payment reconciliations for our FMCG distribution/trading business. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of accounts, clear vendor/customer payment queries promptly, and ensure full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

- Payment & Query Management: Track all incoming and outgoing payments, promptly answer payment-related queries from suppliers and clients, and reconcile party ledgers regularly.
- Core Accounting: Maintain daily day-book, general ledger entries, purchase/sales registers, and bank reconciliations using accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books).
- Tax Compliance: Handle GST computation, file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), compute TDS, and coordinate tax filing deadlines.
- Inventory & Billing Coordination: Verify sales invoices, monitor inventory stock accounting, and cross-check billing records against physical stock movements.




- Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly cash flow statements, profit & loss summaries, and outstanding payment aging reports for management review.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years of working experience in accounting, ideally within FMCG, retail, or wholesale distribution.
- Software Skills: Hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and GST portals.
- Key Skills: Strong numerical ability, high accountability in managing vendor queries, and thorough knowledge of GST and TDS regulations.

Pay: ₹8,593.90 - ₹15,000.00 per month
