Position Title:Project Engineer

Department: Project Management Services (PMS)
Purpose/ObjectiveThis role is responsible for assisting in tank installation works, coordinating day to day activities withinternal stakeholder, external stakeholder (i.e. Customer, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers/vendors,Statutory Body etc.) and ensuring compliance with project plans, safety regulations and qualitystandards.The role demands preparation of all necessary documents required to kick start the tanks installationworks till the project closure. The Project Engineer shall be ensuring smooth execution of tankerection/installation works and facilitating support/input required for the timely execution of the plans.This role focuses on assisting in daily site operations, monitoring contractor activities, and maintainingaccurate project documentation.

Key Responsibilities of RoleSite Execution & Monitoring: Assisting the PMS Team and Site/Installation Team in carrying outconstruction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Guide and assistin material handling, checking deliveries, and ensuring proper usage as per project guidelines. Monitordaily contractor work and escalate any site-related issues.

Technical Support & Coordination: Provide technical assistance in project related works, day to dayoperations and resolve site challenges. Assist in preparing project related documents and technicaldocuments. Support in project clearance and approval processes by compiling necessarydata/information.





Project Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, material consumption, qualitytest report and progress reports. Keep track of all modifications and update project documentation.Feeding and managing data in the ERP for all project related works.

Inspection & Compliance: Role also calls for visiting tank installation site for current erection or attending repair/leakages/refurbishment and conducting tank audits/quality checks. Ensuring tank installation works is executed as per design intent, approved job procedure and all site safety and safety compliance guidelines are strictly followed. Identifying any bottlenecks, hindrances at site, construction discrepancies and report them for resolution.

Key Stakeholders Internal Key Stakeholders – F&A;, Production, C&P;, Sales & Post Sales and Design & Engineering External Key Stakeholders – Customer, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers/vendors, Statutory Body etc.

Technical CompetencyProject Control and Management Candidate’s ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings (such as GA Drawing, Nozzle Orientation Drawing etc.)Site/Construction Management Well versed with MS Words, MS Excel/G-Suite

Qualification & Experience B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent2-3 Years of Experience Preferred Background: Experience in Tank Construction/Installation Works and Construction Management
