We are looking for a Consultant skilled in Jira Product Discovery (JPD) and Product Portfolio Management to help the CRM of the Future Program / Martech organization deploy and refine JPD as the go-to platform for Discovery and roadmapping within portfolio management. This person will design and configure the JPD workplace, transfer existing roadmap data from Roadmunk, build effective prioritization and roadmap views, and ensure smooth alignment between discovery and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

- Set up and configure Jira Product Discovery spaces, including designing and organizing idea structures, fields, workflows, and related portfolio information
- Oversee the transfer of roadmap data from Roadmunk into Jira Product Discovery, ensuring the information is accurate, complete, and properly structured
- Build and configure JPD views that support prioritization, roadmap planning, portfolio visibility, and links to delivery activities
- Create and maintain unified roadmaps spanning Product Lines and Business Lines, offering customized views for different stakeholder groups




- Build strong integration and traceability connecting discovery, prioritization, roadmaps, and delivery execution
- Deliver ongoing administration and support for Jira Product Discovery to Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and other team members
- Guide users on best practices for idea management, prioritization, roadmap building, stakeholder views, and portfolio reporting
- Collaborate with executive leadership, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and turn them into practical JPD solutions
- Lead stakeholder conversations and offer guidance on portfolio structuring, roadmap design, prioritization approaches, and tool adoption
- Encourage user adoption through coaching, knowledge sharing, documentation, and continued operational support
- Spot opportunities to enhance portfolio management practices and get the most value from Jira Product Discovery as the organization's chosen discovery and roadmapping tool
- Keep the JPD environment adaptable and aligned with changing business, product, and delivery needs throughout the project

Requirements

- 10-14 years of overall IT experience
- Deep knowledge of Jira Product Discovery (JPD) and the wider Jira ecosystem
- Prior experience in Product Portfolio Management,



Product Management, Discovery, and roadmapping
- Proficiency in setting up Jira Product Discovery spaces, ideas, fields, views, and roadmap frameworks
- Hands-on experience migrating Roadmunk data or transferring roadmap/portfolio information between platforms
- Solid grasp of Agile, Scrum, Product Management, and software delivery practices
- Track record of building roadmaps for executives, product lines, business lines, and specific stakeholder groups
- Familiarity with prioritization frameworks and methods for visualizing portfolios
- Ability to link product discovery and roadmap planning to delivery execution
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, comfortable engaging both executive and delivery teams
- Sharp analytical, problem-solving, and consulting capabilities
- Comfortable working independently as well as partnering with cross-functional teams
