Job Responsibilities
- Welcome and attend to guests in a polite and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and maintain proper table service standards.
- Ensure tables, dining areas, crockery, cutlery and service stations are clean and organized.
- Assist guests with menu information and respond to their requests professionally.
- Coordinate with chefs, captains and other restaurant staff for smooth service.
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests finish their meals.
- Follow hygiene, cleanliness and food-service standards at all times.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints politely and escalate issues to the Captain or Manager when required.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and other restaurant operations as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Pleasant personality, professional grooming and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced restaurant environment.
- Should be punctual, disciplined and willing to work flexible shifts.
- Knowledge of basic food and beverage service will be an advantage.
