Job Title: Accounts & Tax Assistant

Job location: Mumbai (Borivali West)

Work days : Mon - Sat

Work hours: 10 am to 6.30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle end-to-end accounting activities up to finalisation of accounts.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, bank reconciliation and related schedules.
- Prepare TDS workings and ensure timely filing of TDS returns.
- Handle GST workings, reconciliation and GST return filings.
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, companies and other applicable entities.
- Handle ROC/MCA compliances, including preparation and filing of applicable forms and returns.
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate with clients for collection of accounting, tax and compliance-related information and documents.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory compliance and maintain proper records.
- Assist in audits,



assessments and other tax/compliance-related assignments as required.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in Commerce / B.Com preferred.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in a CA Firm / Tax Consultancy / Accounting Firm.
- Good practical knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax and ROC compliances.
- Experience in accounting up to finalisation of accounts is essential.
- Working knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
- Positive communication, organisational and client-handling skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple assignments and meet statutory deadlines.
