Position: Accountant
Job Location: Park Street, Kolkata – Head Office
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

- Monday to Friday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Sunday: Holiday

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage personal accounting, taxation, Tally entries, and monthly financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle personal Income Tax Return (ITR) filing and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of personal share market transactions.
- Enter and maintain all share transaction records in Tally.
- Prepare and maintain monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements.
- Pass all necessary accounting adjustments and adjustment entries on a monthly basis.
- Maintain proper ledger accounts, journal entries, vouchers, and reconciliations.
- Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation regularly.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
- Maintain proper documentation for taxation and audit purposes.
- Coordinate with CA/Tax Consultant when required for ITR, tax, and financial matters.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly accounting and reporting activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of personal financial and investment information.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- Graduate in B.Com / M.Com / Accounting or related field preferred.
- Good practical knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
- Experience in Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and filing.
- Knowledge of share market transaction accounting and entries.
- Strong understanding of Balance Sheet, P&L;, Journal Entries, and accounting adjustments.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to independently handle day-to-day accounting work.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates with prior experience handling individual/personal accounts and investments will be preferred.

Experience

Preferred Experience: 2–5 years in accounting, taxation, and Tally-related work.

Freshers with strong practical knowledge of Tally and accounting may also be considered.
