Hexxcell is seeking to a Full-time position for an experienced and proactive Senior IT Manager to manage and support our global IT infrastructure. Based in our Bangalore office, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our computer and network systems locally, while also supporting our London HQ infrastructure and global remote workforce.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse tech stack including Linux and Windows systems, Microsoft Servers, Azure Cloud, while playing a key role in maintaining our ISO 27001 certification.

Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Operations

- Lead enterprise IT infrastructure and day-to-day IT operations.
- Manage LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN, internet connectivity and data-center infrastructure.
- Manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage, backup and DR infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, performance and reliability of critical IT services.
- Develop infrastructure standards, SOPs and operational processes.

Cybersecurity

- Own enterprise IT security operations and security improvement initiatives.
- Manage firewalls, endpoint security, EDR/XDR, email security, web security and vulnerability management.
- Implement security controls aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS and other applicable frameworks.
- Manage VAPT, penetration testing, remediation and security audits.
- Implement IAM, MFA, Conditional Access and privileged-access controls.
- Monitor security incidents and coordinate incident response.

Microsoft 365 / Cloud

- Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Manage hybrid identity and on-premises /cloud integration.
- Implement Microsoft security and compliance controls.
- Manage Azure/AWS infrastructure where applicable.
- Drive cloud migration and optimization initiatives.

Network & Connectivity

- Lead enterprise network architecture and security.




- Manage Cisco/Aruba/Meraki/Fortinet or equivalent technologies
- Manage SD-WAN, SASE, VPN and secure remote access.
- Ensure network monitoring, capacity planning and performance optimization.

IT Service Management

- Establish and improve ITIL-based processes.
- Own Incident, Problem, Change, Request and Asset Management.
- Define and monitor SLAs/KPIs.
- Improve IT service availability and user experience.
- Manage IT helpdesk and escalation processes.

IT Governance, Risk & Compliance

- Drive IT policies, standards and governance.
- Support ISO 27001/ISMS audits and compliance activities.
- Maintain IT risk register and remediation plans.
- Conduct periodic access reviews and infrastructure/security assessments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and data-protection requirements.

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

- Develop and maintain IT BCP/DR strategies.
- Conduct DR drills and recovery testing.
- Define RTO/RPO for critical applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure backup integrity and recovery readiness.

IT Projects & Digital Transformation

- Lead infrastructure and cybersecurity projects from planning through implementation.
- Manage technology roadmaps and modernization initiatives.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to senior management.
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, risks and stakeholders.

Vendor & Budget Management

- Manage IT vendors, MSPs, telecom providers and technology partners.
- Negotiate contracts, renewals and commercial terms.
- Manage annual IT budgets and technology procurement.
- Track IT costs and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure vendor SLA and performance compliance.

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor IT infrastructure, security,



system administration and support teams.
- Define objectives, KPIs and development plans.
- Build a solid IT service and security culture.
- Manage escalations and critical incidents.

What You Bring

· Proven experience as a Senior IT Manager in a cross-platform environment

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering or related discipline

MBA/PGDM in IT Management is an advantage.

· Strong knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments

· Microsoft certifications in System Administration, Networking, and Security

· Working knowledge of Docker and containerized environments

· Experience with Azure AD, Intune, Entra ID and remote software deployment tools

· Experience with ISO 27001

· Proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
