JOB DESCRIPTION – INTERNAL MEDICINE DOCTOR / PHYSICIAN

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Internal Medicine Doctor / Physician to provide comprehensive medical consultation, diagnosis and treatment for patients in OPD, IPD and emergency services. The doctor will work closely with nursing staff, specialists and other hospital departments to ensure appropriate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct OPD consultations and evaluate patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Diagnose and manage common medical conditions based on clinical assessment and appropriate investigations.
- Attend IPD patients and monitor their clinical progress.
- Handle medical emergencies and provide initial stabilisation and treatment.
- Review investigation reports including CBC, LFT, KFT, ECG, X-ray, USG and other relevant tests.
- Prescribe medicines and treatment as clinically indicated and within applicable professional/legal requirements.
- Coordinate with specialists for referral, consultation and further management whenever required.
- Participate in emergency/on-call duties as per hospital requirements.
- Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions, case sheets and treatment notes.
- Communicate diagnosis, treatment plans and necessary precautions clearly to patients and attendants.
- Follow hospital SOPs, infection-control practices, patient-safety protocols and professional ethics.
- Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy and other clinical departments.




- Participate in clinical discussions, audits and quality-improvement activities when required.

Eligibility & Qualification

- MBBS from a recognised medical institution.
- Valid registration with NMC/appropriate State Medical Council is mandatory.
- MD/DNB in General Medicine/Internal Medicine will be preferred.
- Candidates with relevant clinical experience in hospital OPD/IPD and emergency care will be preferred.
- Fresh MBBS doctors with relevant internship/clinical exposure may also be considered depending on hospital requirements.

Employment Options

Full-Time: Regular OPD + IPD + emergency/on-call responsibilities as per hospital roster.

On-Call: Doctor will be available for scheduled consultations, emergency calls, IPD reviews and specialist/physician consultation as mutually agreed with the hospital.

Experience

2–5+ years preferred, depending on the role and qualification.
MD/DNB General Medicine/Internal Medicine candidates may be considered for Consultant/Physician responsibilities.

Salary

Negotiable / As per qualification, experience and availability.

Location: Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
