Automobile Cashier – Job Description

Role Overview:
An automobile cashier is responsible for managing customer transactions related to vehicle sales, servicing, spare parts, and other automotive services. They ensure accurate billing, collect payments, and provide good customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and process payments (cash, card, UPI, etc.) for vehicle purchases, repairs, or parts
- Generate invoices and receipts for customers
- Maintain daily cash records and balance cash drawers
- Coordinate with the service and sales team for billing details
- Handle customer queries regarding bills and payments
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of transactions
- Follow company policies for financial transactions and audits

Required Skills:

- Basic accounting and numerical skills




- Familiarity with billing software or POS systems
- Good communication and customer handling skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, billing systems)

Educational Qualification:

- Minimum: 10th / 12th pass
- Preferred: Diploma or degree in commerce or accounting

Experience:

- Freshers can apply
- Prior experience in cashier or billing roles (especially in automobile/service industry) is an advantage

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
