Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Engineer / Data Lead with 10–12 years of experience in data engineering, data management, or enterprise data warehousing.

The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on engineering expertise with data leadership capabilities. This individual will design scalable data architectures, lead customer-facing discussions, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of complex enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design scalable enterprise data architectures supporting analytics, reporting, and AI-driven solutions.
- Develop dimensional data models, including star schemas, snowflake schemas, fact tables, and dimension tables.
- Design, develop, and optimize complex ETL/ELT pipelines across cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Perform advanced SQL development, query optimization, database performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Use Python for data processing, automation, transformation, reconciliation, and data-quality validation.
- Lead data-discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with customers and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data models, integration designs, and technical specifications.
- Define source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, data dictionaries, and reconciliation processes.
- Establish data-governance, data-quality,



metadata-management, and data-lineage frameworks.
- Lead integrations across ERP, CRM, operational systems, databases, APIs, and third-party platforms.
- Define and implement master data management strategies and data-quality controls.
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, analysts, business users, and leadership teams.
- Provide technical guidance, review engineering deliverables, and mentor data-team members.
- Identify and resolve complex data-related risks, performance issues, and delivery challenges.
- Ensure data solutions meet scalability, reliability, security, governance, and performance requirements.

Required Qualifications

- 10–12 years of experience in data engineering, data management, database engineering, or enterprise data warehousing.
- Robust experience functioning as a Data Lead or technical lead for enterprise data initiatives.
- Deep expertise in dimensional modeling, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and fact-and-dimension modeling.
- Strong hands-on experience building and managing enterprise ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Advanced SQL development, database optimization, and performance-tuning skills.
- Strong Python proficiency for data engineering, automation, validation, and data-quality processes.




- Experience defining source-to-target mappings and complex data-transformation rules.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Experience with master data management and enterprise data integration.
- Experience integrating ERP, CRM, operational, and third-party systems.
- Strong understanding of API-based integrations and cloud data architecture.
- Excellent customer-facing communication, stakeholder-management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct discovery workshops and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Preferred Technical Experience

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:

- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Snowflake
- AWS Glue
- Informatica
- Talend
- SSIS
- Apache Spark or PySpark
- Cloud data lakes and data warehouses
- REST APIs and enterprise integration frameworks

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
