Job Overview:

The Assistant Merchandiser will support the merchandising team in managing the production of garments, from sampling to final delivery. This role is crucial in coordinating between the design, production, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products that meet the clients' specifications. The Assistant Merchandiser will handle administrative tasks, follow up with suppliers, and maintain production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sample Management: Assist in coordinating with the design team for the creation and approval of samples.
- Production Coordination: Track production timelines, ensuring that all garments are manufactured according to customer specifications and are delivered on time.
- Order Processing: Assist in preparing production orders and monitor the progress, ensuring that quality standards are maintained.
- Supplier Communication: Liaise with fabric suppliers, trim vendors, and manufacturers to ensure timely procurement of materials and ensure production is running smoothly.
- Inventory Management: Maintain records of raw materials,



finished goods, and packaging supplies. Assist in inventory planning to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Quality Control: Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure that all garments meet quality standards and comply with customer requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare regular reports for management on production status, shipment schedules, and inventory levels. Maintain accurate records of all orders and shipments.
- Cost Management: Help in monitoring cost margins by tracking production expenses and optimizing sourcing options.
- Customer Liaison: Communicate with clients to ensure their specifications and requirements are being met at each stage of production.
