Job Description – AV Technician (UAE Operations)

Position Summary

The AV Technician will support the set-up, operation, dismantling and routine maintenance of LED video walls and audio-visual equipment for meetings, ceremonies and corporate events. The role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on technical ability, and the willingness to work under the guidance of the Senior AV Engineer and Business Unit Head. This position is open to Indian candidates for deployment to the UAE; the company will arrange and bear the cost of visa, travel and housing for the selected candidate.

Location: UAE (relocation from India)

Key Responsibilities

1. Portable LED Video Walls

- Set up, align, power and commission portable LED video walls for meetings, ceremonies and events, including frames, ground supports, cabinets, data and power cabling.
- Carry out seam alignment, flatness checks, brightness and colour matching for a uniform display image.
- Dismantle, pack and store LED walls safely after use, with correct cabinet handling and inventory reconciliation.
- Transport and move LED cabinets, controllers and accessories safely using correct trolleys and lifting aids.
- Assist with cabinet and module replacement, cable and receiving-card changes under supervision.
- Maintain the portable LED spares inventory and raise replenishment requests in good time.

2. Event and Meeting Support

- Prepare rooms ahead of scheduled meetings and events, including power-up, source checks, and display and audio verification.
- Assist during live events with source switching, microphone handling and cable management.




- Set up and strike additional equipment such as portable screens, stands, speakers and microphones as required.
- Carry out post-event checks, restore rooms to standard configuration and report any damage promptly.

3. Routine Maintenance & Support

- Assist senior engineers with periodic preventive health checks across all rooms, including cleaning and connector checks.
- Perform first-line checks and basic fault isolation (power, cabling, connectors, source selection) and escalate promptly.
- Assist with cable routing, termination, labelling and dressing during maintenance and re-configuration works.
- Keep AV store rooms, racks, flight cases and cable stock clean, labelled and correctly organised.
- Maintain accurate job records, equipment movement logs and daily activity reports.

4. Health, Safety & Conduct

- Work strictly in accordance with site HSE policy, permit-to-work procedures and site rules at all times.
- Apply correct manual handling, working-at-height and ladder/scaffold practice, and wear required PPE.
- Maintain professional appearance, discretion and confidentiality in an executive/VIP workplace.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical or a related technical trade.




- Minimum 2–3 years' hands-on experience with LED video walls, AV installation or event staging.
- Practical experience of LED cabinet and module handling, assembly and replacement.
- Competent with AV cabling and connectors — power, HDMI, Cat6A, fibre, audio — including termination and testing.
- Physically fit for manual handling, extended standing and working at height.
- Working knowledge of English — able to follow instructions, read labels/drawings and complete simple reports.
- Willing to relocate to the UAE and work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends for events.

Compensation & Relocation Support (for Indian Candidates)

This role is open to candidates based in India who are willing to relocate to the UAE. The company will fully manage and bear the cost of the following:

- UAE employment visa and related government processing
- One-way travel from India to the UAE for the selected candidate
- Company-provided housing/accommodation in the UAE

Candidates should be prepared to relocate on short notice once the offer and visa formalities are confirmed.

Pay: From ₹52,000.00 per month
