Job Purpose

To independently handle customer orders from enquiry and product development through production, quality control and final shipment, ensuring customer requirements, quality standards, costing and delivery schedules are achieved.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle buyer communication, enquiries and order follow-up independently.
- Understand buyer requirements, specifications, quality standards and delivery expectations.
- Coordinate product development, sampling and sample approvals.
- Prepare and review costing, quotations and order details.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production, Quality, Stores, Packing and Export/Shipping departments.
- Follow up fabric, yarn, trims, accessories, labels and packing materials.
- Prepare and monitor Time & Action (T&A;) plans for every order.
- Monitor production from material sourcing to cutting, stitching, checking, finishing and packing.
- Ensure production is completed according to the approved sample and buyer specifications.
- Coordinate inspections, testing and quality approvals.
- Identify production or material delays and take corrective follow-up action.
- Ensure orders are completed and dispatched within the committed shipment date.
- Maintain accurate order, costing, sampling, production and shipment records.




- Coordinate with buyers regarding approvals, changes, production status and shipment updates.
- Guide junior merchandisers and production follow-up executives when required.
- Support management in improving cost, quality, productivity and on-time delivery.

Candidate Requirements

Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma – Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, Apparel or related qualification preferred.

Experience: Minimum 4–8 years in Home Textiles / Export Merchandising.
