About the Role

Future Technologies India is a solar energy solutions company engaged in the sales and promotion of solar energy systems. We are looking for a Customer Relationship Officer (CRO) – Field Sales who will be responsible for generating new business and managing the complete customer sales journey from lead generation to sales closure and handover to the Operations Team.

This is a purely field-based sales position requiring regular customer visits and market travel.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Customer Acquisition

Generate recent leads through field visits, market activities, referrals, networking, and other approved sources. Identify potential customers and build a strong sales pipeline within the assigned territory.

2. Customer Interaction & Requirement Understanding

Meet prospective customers, introduce the company's solar solutions, understand their requirements, explain suitable products/services, and establish strong customer relationships.

3. Site Visit, Proposal & Sales Follow-up

Coordinate customer/site visits and collect the information required for preparing the proposal or quotation. Present the solution and quotation to the customer and conduct systematic follow-ups until the customer reaches a purchase decision.

4. Negotiation & Sales Conversion

Handle customer queries and objections, coordinate for required technical or commercial clarifications, negotiate within the company's approved guidelines, and convert qualified leads into confirmed solar projects.

5. Order Confirmation & Documentation

Coordinate order confirmation, collection of required customer documents, and applicable advance/payment formalities as per company procedures.



Ensure that all information required for project execution is complete and accurate.

6. Project Handover & Customer Coordination

After sales closure, ensure proper handover of the customer and project details to the Operations/Technical Team. Coordinate with internal teams and the customer during the transition to installation and address sales-related requirements.

7. Sales Reporting & Target Achievement

Maintain accurate records of leads, customer visits, follow-ups, and conversions through the company's designated system. Participate in sales review meetings, provide regular activity updates, and achieve assigned sales targets.

Job SpecificationEducational Qualification

- Minimum 10th Standard / SSLC.
- Higher qualifications are also acceptable.

Experience

- Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience.
- Experience in Solar, Electrical, Electronics, Electrical Equipment, Consumer Durables, Technical Product Sales, Direct Sales, or Field Sales will be preferred.

Mandatory Requirement

Two-Wheeler & Valid Driving Licence – Mandatory

As this is a purely field-sales position, the candidate must have regular access to a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence for customer visits, market visits, site visits, and other field-sales activities.
