Job Description

RABS Manufacturing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Stores & Material Manager to independently manage our Stores, Material Management and Dispatch functions.

The candidate will be responsible for the complete flow of materials from receipt and storage through issue to production and the subsequent storage and dispatch of finished products.

The role requires strong coordination with Production, Quality, Purchase, Accounts and Management to ensure that the required materials are available on time and finished products are dispatched according to schedule.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in a manufacturing environment, good inventory-control skills and the ability to manage multiple activities across Stores, Materials and Dispatch.

ResponsibilitiesStores & Inventory

- Manage day-to-day operations of the stores department.
- Receive and verify incoming raw materials, consumables, components and other materials.
- Ensure proper identification, storage and documentation of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
- Issue materials to Production based on authorized requirements.
- Monitor raw material, consumable and finished goods inventory.
- Maintain proper material traceability.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Identify shortages, excess stock and slow-moving materials.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.




- Maintain systematic arrangement and housekeeping of the stores area.
- Maintain inward, outward and stock documentation.

Material Management

- Coordinate with Production to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Monitor material requirements based on production plans.
- Coordinate with Purchase regarding material availability and shortages.
- Track material receipts and pending deliveries.
- Monitor material consumption and stock levels.
- Ensure production is not affected due to avoidable material shortages.
- Maintain appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels where required.
- Monitor movement of raw materials and production-related consumables.
- Coordinate with Quality for inspection and release of incoming materials.

Dispatch

- Plan and coordinate dispatch of finished products according to customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality to ensure finished products are ready for dispatch.
- Verify quantities and documentation before dispatch.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics providers.
- Prepare and maintain dispatch records and documentation.
- Ensure proper packing, identification and handling of finished products.
- Track dispatched materials and delivery status.




- Maintain proper records of outward movement of materials and finished goods.

Team & Coordination

- Supervise stores and dispatch personnel.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor day-to-day activities.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and Accounts departments.
- Provide regular inventory and dispatch updates to management.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures for material handling and documentation.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / relevant technical or management qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Stores, Material Management and/or Dispatch in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in an injection moulding or plastic manufacturing environment will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of inventory control and material management.
- Experience in handling raw materials, consumables and finished goods.
- Experience in dispatch planning and coordination.
- Good knowledge of stock documentation and inventory records.
- Experience with ERP/software-based inventory management will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage Stores, Material and Dispatch activities.
- Valuable communication and team-management skills.
