Senior AccountantJob Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables and follow up for timely settlement.
- Prepare Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review GST, TDS and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents and schedules.
- Assist with GST returns, TDS returns, reconciliations and tax-related documentation.
- Verify invoices, expense claims, purchase orders, and supporting documents.
- Monitor expenses and identify accounting discrepancies or unusual transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.




- Assist management with financial analysis, budgeting, costing and MIS reports.
- Prepare regular MIS and management reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Guide junior accountants and review their work.
- Identify accounting errors and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and Indian taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime / ERP / accounting software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and basic financial reporting.
- Solid reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple accounting activities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification & Experience

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.
- Typically 4–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in GST, TDS, audits, reconciliations and financial reporting preferred.

Reports To: Finance Manager / Accounts Manager / Financial Controller

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
