About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic General Manager – Finance to lead the company’s overall financial planning, funding, banking, investment, cash-flow and financial management activities.

The role will carry senior finance leadership responsibilities similar to a CFO, with a solid focus on business funding, banking relationships, financial strategy, investor presentations and overall financial control.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Management

- Lead overall financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the organization.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and fund utilization.
- Develop financial strategies to support business growth and expansion.
- Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Ensure effective utilization and management of company funds.

Banking & Loan Management

- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions and other lenders.
- Handle bank loans, working capital limits, term loans and other funding requirements.
- Lead the complete loan process including documentation, negotiations, renewals and restructuring wherever required.
- Identify suitable funding options based on business requirements.
- Negotiate interest rates, repayment terms, limits and other financial conditions.

Fund Raising & Investment

- Plan and manage fundraising activities for business expansion and working capital requirements.
- Evaluate different sources of funding and investment opportunities.
- Prepare financial proposals and funding requirements for banks, investors and financial institutions.




- Manage deployment of funds and ensure optimum utilization of available capital.
- Evaluate investment opportunities from a financial and risk perspective.

Investor & Management Presentations

- Prepare professional financial decks, investor presentations and funding proposals.
- Develop PPT presentations for management, investors, banks and financial institutions.
- Present financial plans, business projections, funding requirements and investment proposals.
- Convert complex financial information into clear and business-friendly presentations.

MIS & Financial Reporting

- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial MIS to senior management.
- Track revenue, profitability, expenses, cash flow, working capital and financial ratios.
- Provide management with financial insights and recommendations for business decisions.
- Monitor budgets versus actual performance and highlight major variances.

Financial Control & Compliance

- Oversee accounting and finance functions to ensure proper financial controls.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors and other external professionals.
- Ensure timely statutory and financial compliance.
- Review financial statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Identify financial risks and implement appropriate controls.

Business & Strategic Finance

- Work closely with the management team on expansion, capital expenditure and new business projects.




- Prepare financial feasibility reports and project financial models.
- Assess the financial impact of major business decisions.
- Support the management in strategic planning and long-term financial decisions.
- Provide senior-level financial guidance to the organization.

Candidate Profile

- 10+ years of experience in Finance, Corporate Finance, Banking, Fund Management or a similar senior finance role.
- MBA – Finance preferred; CA / CFA / other relevant finance qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong experience in bank loan management, fundraising and financial planning.
- Proven experience dealing with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions and investors.
- Strong understanding of working capital, term loans, project finance and business funding.
- Experience in preparing financial decks, investor pitches and professional PPT presentations.
- Strong knowledge of cash-flow management, fund management and financial forecasting.
- Good understanding of financial statements, budgeting and MIS.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Solid leadership and decision-making ability.
- Candidates who have handled CFO-level finance responsibilities in their previous organization will be preferred.
