Job description

Keep an Olympic-size swimming pool safe, explicit and running. As Pool Operator at Michael Phelps Swimming, Nerul Gymkhana, you own the water quality and the plant behind it — a health-critical role where consistency and safety come first.

What you'll do

- Manage water chemistry — dose and balance chlorine (TCCA), coagulant (alum) and pH to keep the water within safe ranges at all times
- Test the water several times a day (chlorine, pH, clarity) and log every reading; arrange monthly lab/microbial testing
- Run and monitor filtration and circulation; backwash filters on schedule
- Operate and maintain pumps, motors, dosing units and valves; daily checks, preventive maintenance, and quick fault repair
- Vacuum, brush and skim both pools; clean skimmers and gutters; manage water level and top-up
- Do the pre-session water check and confirm the pool is safe before swimmers enter




- Handle and store chemicals safely and follow all safety protocols

What we're looking for

- Experience running a commercial/large swimming-pool plant — OR a technical trade background (pump/plant operator, electrician, plumber, water-treatment) with willingness to train on pool operation
- Working knowledge of pool water chemistry (or clearly trainable)
- Reliable, disciplined and safety-conscious — this role affects every swimmer's health
- Physically fit and comfortable with early-morning starts and a split shift
- Basic record-keeping; follows standard operating procedures
- Based in or near Navi Mumbai

Pay: ₹10,162.62 - ₹41,534.97 per month
