ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Assistant Accountant you will assist the finance department, accountants and management team by performing routine administrative and accounting tasks — the load-bearing layer of the firm’s financial operations. Account reconciliations, payments and invoices are processed efficiently and accurately, to a standard the desk can rely on without re-checking.

You will create financial documents such as invoices, bills and payable/receivable entries, complete bank reconciliations, and support payroll administration. Financial data enters the proper software packages on your keystroke — which makes your accuracy the books’ accuracy.

The rhythm work matters too: regular financial reports for the finance team, office expenses kept within budget, inconsistencies verified and corrected at source, and the year-end analysis brought to a close with the senior team. Monthly budgetary tasks are managed as they come.
