Parinay Weddings is a premium wedding planning and event management company based in Trivandrum. We specialize in designing and executing memorable weddings and events through creative concepts, meticulous planning, high-quality production, and seamless on-ground execution. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Event Production & Operations Manager to oversee event production, vendor coordination, logistics, and execution.

Role Overview

The Event Production & Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the complete production and operational aspects of weddings and events. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing teams, coordinating vendors, ensuring quality control, and delivering flawless event execution.

Key Responsibilities

Event Production & Execution

- Oversee production and execution of weddings and events from planning to completion.
- Manage stage production, décor fabrication, installations, and event setup activities.
- Conduct venue visits, site inspections, and technical assessments.
- Ensure all event setups meet company quality standards and client expectations.
- Supervise event-day operations and resolve on-site challenges efficiently.
- Ensure timely setup, execution, and dismantling of event installations.

Vendor & Logistics Management

- Source, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Manage event logistics, transportation, and material movement.
- Coordinate production schedules and vendor timelines.
- Procure materials and event-related requirements when necessary.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.

Operations & Inventory Management

- Manage event equipment and rental inventory.




- Track material usage and coordinate inventory movement.
- Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and accountability of production assets.
- Develop efficient operational processes for event execution.

Team Management

- Lead and supervise production crews, labour teams, and event staff.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and productivity during event operations.

Cost Control & Quality Assurance

- Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure all work is completed within approved budgets.
- Perform quality checks throughout production and event execution.
- Take ownership of the final appearance and quality of every setup.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in wedding planning, event management, stage production, event operations, construction/interior execution, or related fields.
- Solid leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Creative mindset with practical execution capabilities.
- Willingness to travel locally and outstation for events.
- Valid driving licence is mandatory.
- Malayalam proficiency is required.

Work Schedule

- Monday to Saturday
- 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Additional working hours, weekends, and holidays may be required during event execution.
