Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VP – HR, Accounts & HIPAA Compliance to lead our Human Resources function, oversee accounting operations, and manage HIPAA compliance for our medical billing operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership experience in HR within medical billing, healthcare operations, or healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), along with practical knowledge of POSH compliance, HIPAA privacy and security requirements, employee relations, performance management, and accounting coordination.

This is a multi-functional leadership position requiring robust people management, compliance, documentation, and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end HR operations covering the complete employee lifecycle.
- Oversee recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee documentation, personnel records, and offboarding.
- Provide HR guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employee-related matters.
- Handle escalated employee relations issues, disciplinary matters, fact-finding, documentation, and corrective-action processes.
- Manage performance appraisal cycles, employee development initiatives, and manager support.
- Oversee employee learning, development, and mandatory compliance training.
- Coordinate with payroll and benefits partners to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Lead POSH compliance, including complaint handling, Internal Committee coordination, investigations, documentation, and statutory reporting.
- Act as the designated HIPAA Officer for the medical billing unit.
- Lead HIPAA privacy and security compliance, employee training, policy implementation, incident response coordination, and breach-response processes.
- Supervise the Accounts department and oversee accounting workflows, team coordination, performance, and day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, bookkeepers, and other external accounting partners.
- Drive process improvement, documentation, reporting, and standardization across HR, Accounts,



and Compliance functions.
- Maintain strong confidentiality and ensure appropriate handling of sensitive employee, healthcare, and financial information.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Experience in medical billing, healthcare operations, healthcare BPO/KPO, or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Master’s degree/MBA in HR or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, employment laws, and employee relations.
- Strong working knowledge of the POSH Act, including complaint handling, Internal Committee procedures, investigations, and annual compliance requirements.
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements.
- Experience handling HIPAA training, policies, incidents, breach-response coordination, and healthcare-data confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of accounting operations and the ability to supervise an Accounts team.
- Experience coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, bookkeeping providers, or other external finance partners.
- Proficiency in HR systems, reporting tools, MS Office, and other productivity applications.

Preferred Experience

- Experience managing employee relations cases and workplace investigations.
- Previous experience as a POSH Internal Committee Member or Presiding Officer.
- Experience with HR analytics, MIS reporting, and HR process standardization.
- Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and confidentiality requirements.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and working directly with senior management.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a mature HR leader who can independently manage complex employee matters, maintain strong compliance standards, work closely with senior management, and effectively oversee HR, Accounts, and healthcare compliance responsibilities.

Candidates with direct experience in US healthcare, medical billing, RCM, or healthcare BPO operations will be strongly relevant for this position.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
