SK Tool & Design Solution is a B2B manufacturing and engineering company based in Bawana, Delhi, specializing in plastic mould manufacturing, mould design, product development, fabrication, VMC machining, and precision engineering solutions.

We are looking for an experienced VMC Programmer with a strong background in B2B manufacturing and practical knowledge of NX Software for CNC/VMC programming and machining applications.

Job Summary

The VMC Programmer will be responsible for developing, modifying, and optimizing VMC/CNC programs for precision machining of moulds, dies, tooling, and engineering components.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a B2B manufacturing environment, be comfortable working with engineering drawings and 3D CAD data, and have working knowledge of Siemens NX / NX CAM.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, modify, and optimize VMC/CNC programs for moulds, dies, tooling, and precision components.
- Develop machining programs using Siemens NX / NX CAM.
- Interpret 2D engineering drawings, 3D models, dimensions, GD&T;, and machining requirements.
- Plan complete machining processes and operation sequences.
- Select suitable cutting tools, tool holders, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- Generate and verify 2D and 3D toolpaths.
- Perform toolpath simulation and identify potential collisions, overcuts, and machining issues before production.
- Set work offsets, tool offsets, coordinate systems, and machine parameters as required.
- Troubleshoot programming and machining problems during production.
- Optimize programs for cycle time, tool life, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish.
- Work closely with the design, toolroom, production, and quality teams.




- Understand customer drawings and technical requirements in a B2B manufacturing environment.
- Handle engineering changes and drawing/model revisions.
- Inspect machined components and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Maintain proper records of CNC/VMC programs and revisions.
- Follow company safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of VMC/CNC programming.
- Good knowledge of Siemens NX / NX CAM.
- Good understanding of G-Code and M-Code.
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine setting and operation.
- Solid understanding of cutting tools, tool selection, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Knowledge of 3-axis VMC machining; experience with 4-axis/5-axis machining will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of mould, die, toolroom, or precision component machining.
- Ability to perform toolpath verification and simulation.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

B2B Manufacturing Experience – Mandatory

The candidate must have prior experience working in a B2B manufacturing environment.

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with:

- Tool & die manufacturers
- Plastic mould manufacturers
- Automotive component manufacturers
- Engineering component manufacturers
- Industrial machinery/component manufacturers
- Precision machining companies
- OEMs and Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers

The candidate should understand customer-specific drawings, specifications, quality requirements, delivery commitments,



and production coordination involved in B2B manufacturing.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant practical experience in VMC programming and manufacturing is required.

Experience

3–6 years of relevant experience preferred.

B2B manufacturing experience is mandatory.

Candidates with strong hands-on experience in Siemens NX/NX CAM and VMC programming will be preferred.
