Job Summary

We are looking for a PC & Workstation Assembly Technician responsible for assembling, configuring, testing and troubleshooting desktop PCs, workstations and related computer hardware as per specified configurations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble PCs, workstations and computer systems using components such as motherboards, processors, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPUs, power supplies and cooling systems.
- Install and configure hardware components as per approved BOM/specifications.
- Perform cable management, component installation and system integration.
- Install and configure BIOS/UEFI settings, operating systems and required drivers.
- Conduct hardware testing, diagnostics and system validation before dispatch.
- Troubleshoot hardware-related issues and replace defective components where required.
- Perform system burn-in/stress testing and basic performance checks.
- Ensure proper handling, installation and ESD-safe practices for electronic components.
- Maintain assembly records, testing reports and component details.
- Coordinate with the production,



quality and technical teams for resolving assembly-related issues.
- Ensure finished systems meet defined quality and configuration requirements.

Required Skills

- Valuable knowledge of PC hardware and computer components.
- Hands-on experience in PC/workstation assembly and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Intel/AMD processors, DDR4/DDR5 RAM, SSD/HDD, GPUs, PSU and motherboards.
- Basic knowledge of BIOS/UEFI, Windows installation and hardware drivers.
- Ability to read and follow BOMs, technical specifications and assembly instructions.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ESD and safe handling of electronic components.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass in Computer Hardware, Electronics, Electrical, IT or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Experience in OEM manufacturing, system integration, PC/workstation assembly or server assembly will be preferred.
