EDSS is looking for an experienced Store Manager cum Driver – LCV to manage construction materials and store operations while handling local transportation and deliveries.

The candidate should have good knowledge of construction materials, tools and equipment, along with experience in store management and LCV driving.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day store operations and maintain proper organization of materials.
- Receive, inspect, store and issue construction materials, tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock and inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate material requirements with the concerned team.
- Collect and deliver construction materials from suppliers to project sites.
- Safely operate the company's LCV for material transportation and deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
- Coordinate with suppliers, site staff and the office regarding material requirements.
- Maintain records of materials received, issued and delivered.




- Ensure proper handling and storage of construction materials.
- Keep the store and vehicle clean and organized.
- Report any stock discrepancies, material issues or vehicle problems promptly.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. Freshers are not eligible.
- Valid driving licence forLight Commercial Vehicle (LCV).
- Experience in construction, building materials, store management or a related field.
- Good knowledge of commonly used construction materials, tools and equipment.
- Ability to maintain basic inventory and stock records.
- Basic communication and documentation skills.
- Responsible, punctual and trustworthy.
- Willingness to assist with material handling and site-related activities when required.
