Role Overview

Studio Andem, an architecture and interior design practice is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to support the firm’s financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting statutory compliance, and assisting management with financial reporting and project-based cost tracking.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Financial Record Maintenance:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records by recording all financial transactions in the accounting system in a timely and compliant manner.

- Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Manage vendor and client accounts, including invoice verification, payment processing, collections, and follow-up on outstanding balances.

- Account Reconciliation:

Perform regular reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, vendor ledgers, and other financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Financial Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

- Cost Sheet Preparation:

Prepare project-wise cost sheets and detailed project cost summaries for architectural and interior design projects.

- Data Analysis & Review:





Analyze financial data to identify variances, discrepancies, cost overruns, and opportunities for financial improvement.

- Audit Support:

Provide documentation and assistance during internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

- Expense Management:

Review and process employee expense claims in line with company policies and approval structures.

- Taxation & Compliance:

Handle tax-related filings and compliance requirements, including GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory filings.

- Interdepartmental Coordination:

Collaborate with project teams, operations, and management to gather financial inputs and provide accounting support.

- Ad Hoc & Special Assignments:

Undertake additional accounting tasks or special projects as assigned to support overall departmental and organizational objectives.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
- Experience in project-based accounting and cost tracking
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
