SR Group of Institutions (SRGI), Jhansi, invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering for its Polytechnic wing (SR College of Polytechnic).

Position Overview

- Role Title: Lecturer – Mechanical Engineering (Polytechnic)

- Required Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE-approved institution (First Class preferred per AICTE/BTEUP norms)
- Experience Level: 0–3 years (Freshers with robust core fundamentals and a passion for teaching are welcome)

Key Responsibilities

- Classroom Instruction: Prepare and deliver interactive lectures and tutorials for diploma students in core mechanical subjects (Thermodynamics, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Drawing, and Manufacturing Processes).
- Practical Training & Workshops: Conduct regular lab sessions, supervise workshop practices (lathe operations, welding, fitting, CNC basics), and ensure strict adherence to workshop safety protocols.
- Assessment & Documentation: Prepare lesson plans,



assignment papers, internal test papers, and evaluate answer sheets and practical files as per BTEUP (Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh) guidelines.
- Project Guidance: Mentor diploma students through their final-year technical projects, model creation, industrial visits, and vocational training preparation.
- Institutional Development: Maintain student attendance records, support AICTE/BTEUP inspection and accreditation documentation, and participate in campus technical events and placement drives.

Required Skills & Technical Competencies

- Technical Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical principles, engineering mechanics, and practical workshop machinery.
- Software Tools: Basic proficiency in CAD/CAM tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is highly desirable.
- Communication & Mentorship: Clear verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hindi, along with effective classroom management abilities.

Pay: ₹16,994.30 - ₹18,397.94 per month
