Job Purpose

To prepare accurate technical and commercial cost estimates for industrial battery chargers, LV panels, HT panels and outdoor electrical cabinets based on customer specifications, drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and techno-commercial offers for:
- Industrial battery chargers
- LV panels
- HT panels
- Outdoor electrical cabinets
- DCDBs and associated electrical systems
- Study RFQs, tender documents, customer specifications, BOQs and technical requirements.
- Prepare BOMs and identify suitable electrical components and materials.
- Obtain and evaluate material prices from approved suppliers.
- Calculate material, manufacturing, labour, testing and other project costs.
- Prepare detailed costing sheets and quotations.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production and Sales teams to finalize estimates.
- Evaluate alternative makes/components to optimize cost while maintaining technical compliance.
- Prepare technical compliance statements and deviations where required.
- Support preparation of techno-commercial proposals and tender submissions.
- Maintain updated price databases for electrical components and raw materials.
- Review historical project costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.




- Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive and submitted within deadlines.

Desired Technical Skills

- Positive understanding of electrical panels and industrial electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial battery chargers and DC systems is preferred.
- Understanding of LV/HT switchgear and electrical components.
- Ability to interpret SLDs, GA drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of electrical components, ratings and applications.
- Experience in BOM preparation and component costing.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and costing/ERP systems.
- Ability to compare vendor quotations and negotiate technically with suppliers.

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in electrical estimation/costing/design.
- Experience in panel manufacturing, battery chargers, switchgear or electrical equipment is preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight tender deadlines.
- Good coordination and communication skills.

Pay: ₹6,500.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
