RABS Manufacturing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Quality Inspector to support quality inspection activities at our injection moulding facility.

This position is suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of experience, including fresh Diploma or B.E. graduates who are interested in developing their career in manufacturing and injection moulding quality.

The candidate will work closely with the Production and Quality teams to inspect moulded components, identify defects, maintain inspection records and ensure that products meet the required specifications.

Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of injection moulded components.
- Inspect products according to approved drawings, specifications and inspection standards.
- Conduct visual inspection of moulded components.
- Identify common injection moulding defects such as flash, short moulding, sink marks, burn marks, weld lines, warpage, splay and flow marks.
- Perform dimensional inspection using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Record inspection results accurately.
- Segregate rejected and accepted components as per established procedures.
- Report quality issues to the Quality and Production teams.
- Assist in monitoring production quality on the shop floor.
- Maintain inspection reports,



rejection records and other quality documents.
- Assist in identifying recurring defects and communicating them to the concerned team.
- Support first-piece and production inspections.
- Ensure proper identification and traceability of inspected materials.
- Assist senior quality personnel during mould trials and process trials.
- Follow established inspection procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and organization of the inspection area.
- Support continuous improvement activities related to product quality.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Plastics, Mechatronics or a relevant technical discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may apply.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and dimensions.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer and height gauge will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn injection moulding processes and quality control.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
